‘A Chair Affair’ is Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers Regina’s newest fundraising event. The auction will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the Agra Torchinsky Salon at the MacKenzie Art Gallery, the event will feature original works by local artists. Artists from Regina and area have taken a chair, a stool, or a similar item and turned it into a work of art.  Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers are a group of Regina and local area grandmothers who fund raise for the Stephen Lewis Foundation, to support African grandmothers who are raising a generation of children orphaned by AIDS.  Members of the Regina Stitchery Guild turned a chair into a work of art by stitching a Bargello design onto a chair seat.
