Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers presents a fabric, yarn and more sale Saturday October 31, 2015 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the TelePioneer Activity Centre 2106 1st Avenue, Regina.  There is a wide variety of fabric, thread, yarn, patterns and more.  Proceeds support African grandmothers who are raising the children orphaned by AIDS.

Country Wives & Daughters of the Country: Metis Women of This Land Works by Leah Marie Dorion recognize women’s special relationship with the land.  Her imagery speaks of traditional teachings, cultural knowledge and values, and are based on historical accounts.  The paintings will be augumented with cultural artifacts.  On display October 23 – December 5, 2015.  Artist talk November 7, 2015 at 2 pm.
