As a result of the Corona Virus the City of Regina  closed  the Neil Balkwill Centre  until further notice.  As a result, the Friday morning stitch –  ins and  all Guild meetings are cancelled until further notice.

Martha Cole will be talking about her career in art at the Art Gallery of Regina, Wednesday February 19th at 7 pm.   Some of Martha Cole’s fabric based artworks addressing inter-contentedness, sustainability and protection of the environment will be on view for the evening. The Flower People is a collection of stories by Regina artist Melanie Monique Rose.  Using blankets as a canvas for her felted flower arrangements, she draws inspiration from Ukrainian folk art and Metis floral beadwork and craft. Support the Home Front Care Kits for Veterans

During the First and Second World Wars, care kits were sent to members serving on the front lines and away from home to raise their spirits. The Regina Stitchery Guild in partnership with the the Provincial Capital Commission, Provincial Military Liaison,  the Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command and Understand Us have created kits that will be distributed to veterans.  A media event will take place Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Government House in Regina.
