CBBAG the association of Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artist Guild of Saskatchewan is hosting a display of hand made books at the Regina Public Libray Main branch from March 15 – April 30. Handmade books by guild members are featured in this display.

The Christmas social meeting will be held MONDAY, DECEMBER 10 (and not the usual Tuesday night) from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the REGINA FLORAL CONSERVATORY at 1450 B – 4th Avenue. It is set back from the street so you have to go into the parking lot to get to the front door. There will be no charge to attend. Monika Kinner-Whalen is a full time Saskatchewan fibre artist who lives and works in Saskatoon. Her creations are expressions of her love of the prairies and often originate from her personal photographs of Saskatchewan. ‘A Chair Affair’ is Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers Regina’s newest fundraising event. The auction will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the Agra Torchinsky Salon at the MacKenzie Art Gallery, the event will feature original works by local artists. Martha Cole will be teaching a one day class on the X Accordion book structure. Mat board is used to create separate framed windows for each part of the accordion which are then attached to each other with visible cloth hinges giving the structure its flexibility.
